In October 2022, I had the opportunity to participate in the REASTE conference organised in Heraklion, Greece. With its broad focus on food waste, the conference brought together food waste scholars from various disciplines to share their research. My presentation ‘It takes a village to valorise waste: Insights into the experiences of professionals engaged in food waste valorisation’ examined the experiences of Dutch professionals working in the sector.
